Layana London collections are created by hand by independent designers across Europe. Our in-house collection is made by highly skilled craftsmen and craftswomen in a trusted factory in Jaipur, India. The factory is certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council and received certificates covering all aspects of employees’ well-being and ethical sourcing including ISO:9000, Sadex and Star Export House. They uses solar panels for renewable energy and are building lead department fully dedicated to green production aiming to reduce 30% of used energy by end of 2023.
Employees of our supplier and their families are 100 % covered by health and dental insurance and benefit from a bonus scheme that helps increase their bank savings by factory contributing an extra 12% of the salary to the savings.
They also support Akshay Patra organisation by donating 1500 meals every month to school children and providing funds to Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital in Jaipur.

Our pieces are produced from certified recycled 925 sterling silver and gold, conflict-free sapphires and semi-precious stones. We just started a pilot using recycled brass.
We use exclusively recycled paper and carrier bags. Our velvet pouches are made to be reused to protect the jewellery at home or during travel and from 2023 onwards we will use biodegradable pouches.
Our pieces are versatile, can be worn on repeat and layered in many ways, including reversible necklaces, stacking rings and two-in-one earrings.

Our pieces are timeless and made to last for years. All vermeil collections are layered with 2.5 microns thick 18kt gold on top of sterling silver which creates a finish five times thicker than average gold plating and is far more durable. You don’t need to worry about tarnished jewellery.
The pieces come with a year-long guarantee but we would always be happy to repair it for you in the unlikely event then it gets damaged.
